Many great advances made in the field of Cosmology were made by Steven Hawking.
Considering his physical state these advances and discovers made by him are of great significance.
Hawking was born in 1942, in Oxford, England, on January 8th.
When Hawking began to attend college he wanted to pursue further
knowledge in the world of mathematics. However this was not an option due to the fact
that mathematics was not available at the school. So as an alternative he turned to physics.
After three years of pursuing a further understanding of physics
he was awarded with a first class honors degree in Natural science.
After his being honored with this award he moved on to Cambridge college were he began his
research in cosmology.It was here where Hawking earned his Ph.D
He then moved on to Gonville and Caius College where he was a
research fellow and then a professorial fellow.
Between the years 1973 through 1979, Stephen Hawking took part in departments concerning
astronomy and other departments responsible for mathematics and theoretical physics.
Over all the work of Stephen Hawking have been of the basic laws that govern the universe.
Along side Roger Penrose, Hawking proved significant point of Albert Einsteins general theory of Relativity.
These points consisting of how space and time would have to begin in the big bang and end in black holes.
It was because of this discovery that he realized it was necessary for the unification of General Relativity, and Quantum Theory.
